Wouldn't it be foolish for anyone to announce omniscience to the world? Being an empiricist means that the new knowledge would help me to better understand the world and myself.
For a Christian?
They would argue that on the base(13) 6 x 9th day God created alien life forms. In a world where God has described everything for you in a single book means that there is a very limited scope for the 'true followers of the Bible.'
