
The Monterey Bay Paleontological Society's goals are to foster the scientific, educational, and aesthetic appreciation of fossils by people of all ages, including students, teachers, amateur paleontologists, professional scientists, and the general public.
Lectures- Lectures are held periodically.
Field Trips- The Society sponsors field trips to nearby fossil localities and special exhibits.
Membership- The Society no longer has paid memberships and no longer publishes the Bulletin. All activities and news are now posted on this web site.
Other Activities- The Society strives to offer educational resources for school children and works to preserve significant fossil localities for the enjoyment and education of future generations.
