The purpose is to provide a single entry point for all counties and towns in Massachusetts, where collected data will be stored. At the same time, volunteers were found who were willing to coordinate the collection of databases and generally oversee the contents of the web page. I would like this to be an area that would include useful genealogical information on Middlesex County, its cities and towns. Some possible suggestions would be: History stories or connections to pages that tell the whole story, GEDCOM files of persons who lived in Middlesex County, Information about genealogy and Middlesex city and town historical society links, Middlesex family reunions, County records, cemetery listings, or any information that would help with family research.
