Consider if you will the statement that you never cross the same river twice. This is seen as an argument for the INFINITE amount of possibilities one crosses in their life.
Now let us literally consider this statement. Matter can neither be created nor destroyed, it can only be transferred. If this is the case then we are dealing with a FINITE amount of resource in our reality. Thus because matter is finite, we are limited by our finite lifespans and finite possibilities. So thus you can cross the same river twice, it's just very improbable that it will happen.
